MANGING AGGRESSIVE YOUTH

This course will provide an overview on how to build rapport with aggressive youth and maintain a safe and stable environment. Communication styles, problem solving skills, aggressive replacement training, and cognitive behavioral treatment will be covered. Participants will be exposed to the different thinking behind the aggression and learn to respond to the thinking versus the behavior with different styles and techniques. Recognizing possible ACEs and the neurological impact these have on the brain and the fight/flight
